San Bruno Man Cary Larson Killed in San Mateo Train Crash near Hillsdale Caltrain Station
San Mateo, California (March 30, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a train in San Mateo on Friday afternoon has been identified as Cary Larson, 55, of San Bruno, according to the San Mateo County coroner’s office.
The incident happened shortly after 3:50 p.m. March 29, in the area near Hillsdale Caltrain station.
Details on how Larson was struck were unavailable.
Cary Larson Dies in San Mateo Train Crash
Authorities said Larson died in the crash.
There were approximately 285 passengers on board the Caltrain at the time of the accident and none of them was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
