Man Dies in Concord Pedestrian Crash on Arnold Industrial Way
Concord, California (March 30, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Concord on Friday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident happened on Arnold Industrial Way east of Laura Alice Way at about 6:58 p.m. March 29.
Concord police said the man was in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on Arnold Industrial Way.
Man Killed in Concord Pedestrian Crash
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver of the vehicle involved, a 71-year-old Pacheco man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have a played a role in the crash, police said.
The incident is under investigation.
