Woodland, California (March 26, 2019) – 16-year-old Samuel Fellows was among teenagers who were hospitalized following a deadly crash involving two vehicles on Saturday night in Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at about 8:20 p.m. March 23, on Highway 98 near Highway 27.

According to the investigators, a Chevrolet traveling northbound on the highway veered into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a southbound Ford carrying five teens.

Samuel Fellows Hurt in Fatal Yolo County Accident

Fellows and three other Woodland teens, who were riding as passengers in the Ford, were treated for minor injuries. The driver of the Ford sustained major injuries and was taken to Kaiser Vacaville.

The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
