Woodland Teen Gabriel Hartmann Hurt in Fatal Woodland Accident on Highway 98
Woodland, California (March 26, 2019) – A 16-year-old Woodland teen was among five others injured in a deadly crash between two vehicles on Saturday night in Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision occurred at about 8:20 p.m. March 23, on Highway 98 near Highway 27.
According to the investigators, a Chevrolet traveling northbound on the highway veered into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a southbound Ford carrying five teens.

Gabriel Hartmann, 16, of Woodland and three other Woodland teens, who were riding as passengers in the Ford, were treated for minor injuries. The driver of the Ford sustained major injuries and was taken to Kaiser Vacaville.
The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
