1 Killed in Mountain View Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Rengstroff Avenue
Mountain View, California (March 24, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in the Mountain View area of Santa Clara on Sunday evening.
The collision was reported at about 7 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Rengstroff Avenue.
According to a local news source, a pedestrian had been running from the right side of the highway when he was hit by an SUV.

The unidentified pedestrian sustained major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Sadly, the victim succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
