Pinole, California (March 23, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a car accident that happened in Pinole, Contra Costa, on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road at about 12:34 p.m.
As per the report, a gray BMW and a second vehicle collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. One of the cars veered off the roadway after the collision.
Contra Costa Car Accident on 80 Freeway
The authorities said one occupant of the BMW was injured in the collision. The severity of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately established.
