6 People Injured after Vehicle Slams Into Starbucks at Travis Air Force Base

Fresno, California (March 21, 2019) – Six people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a car crashed into a Starbucks on Travis Air Force Base in Fresno, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at Travis Air Force Base.

Authorities said for an unknown reason a vehicle driven by a civilian slammed into the base’s mini-mall.

The occupants of the vehicle and five other people were injured as a result of the crash. Three of the patients were transported to Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield while three others were transported to David Grant Air Force Medical Center.

The names of the victims and their condition at this time remained unknown.

Investigators said the driver didn’t intentionally drove the car into the building.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
