Yasar Barakzai Killed after Costa Mesa Accident at Fairview Road and Adams Avenue
Costa Mesa, California (March 20, 2019) – 22-year-old Yasar Barakzai of Irvine has been identified as the person killed after a traffic collision Tuesday night near an intersection in Costa Mesa, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, near Fairview Road and Adams Avenue.
As per the officials, Barakzai was riding a motorcycle near the intersection when he crashed into a vehicle near the intersection for unknown reasons.
Responding firefighters declared Barakzai dead at the scene.
Authorities mentioned that the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
Officials did not suspect alcohol or drugs to be factors in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
