DUI Driver Arrested after Crashing into 3 Cars on Highway 180 in Sanger, Fresno
At Least 1 Injured in Sanger Accident on Highway 180 near Academy Avenue
Sanger, California (March 10, 2019) – Injuries were reported after a possible DUI driver crashed into three cars in Sanger, Fresno County, on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Highway 180 and Academy Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. March 9.
The authorities said a suspected DUI driver was traveling westbound on Highway 180 when for unknown reasons, the car crossed into the opposite lanes and collided with three cars.
As per the report, an unknown number of people sustained moderate injuries in the collision.
The suspect is reported to have fled the scene of the collision on foot but was apprehended and booked into Fresno County Jail.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
