Sacramento, CA: Multi-Car Crash on Highway 50 and Highway 99
At Least 1 Injured after Sacramento Crash on Highway 50 and Highway 99
Sacramento, California (March 9, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-car collision Saturday afternoon in the area of Sacramento, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 12:49 p.m. Saturday, on eastbound Highway 50, just east of Highway 99.
As per the officials, four vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The vehicles were blocking lane 1 and 2 following the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The roadway was cleared as of 1:36 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
