1 Hospitalized after Rancho Cucamonga Accident on 10 Freeway and Citrus Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, California (March 9, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Friday night in the area of Rancho Cucamonga, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 10:26 p.m. Friday, March 8, on 10 Freeway, west of Citrus Avenue.
As per the report, five to eight cars including a big rig collided for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The big rig driver was transported to Arrowhead Medical Center for treatment of injuries of unknown degree. The names of the patient and their current condition were not immediately known.
A SigAlert was issued following the accident.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
