Major Injuries Sustained after San Diego Crash on 5 Freeway and Dairy Mart Road
San Diego, California (March 6, 2019) – Major injuries were reported after a DUI collision early Wednesday morning in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 4:36 a.m. Wednesday, on 5 Freeway near Dairy Mart Road off-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the cars was fully engulfed in a fire following the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked all lanes following the accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
