Minor Injuries Reported after Sacramento Crash on Highway 99 near Mack Road
Sacramento, California (March 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a multi-vehicle collision Monday evening in the area of Sacramento, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 6:28 p.m. Monday, March 4 on southbound Highway 99, just north of Mack Road off-ramp.
As per the officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties who suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the accident. All lanes were opened as of 6:49 p.m.
