Possible Injuries Reported after Contra Costa Crash on Highway 4 near Willow Pass Road
Contra Costa, California (February 28, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported after a big rig collision early Thursday morning in Contra Costa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 12:36 a.m. Thursday, on eastbound Highway 4, just west of Willow Pass Road.
As per the CHP officials, a big rig and a vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
