At Least 1 Injured in Livermore Crash on 580 Freeway near Carroll Road
Livermore, California (February 26, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a traffic collision early Tuesday morning in Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 3:29 a.m. Tuesday, on westbound 580 Freeway, just east of Carroll Road.
As per the CHP officials, a silver Kia Optima and a diesel truck crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to a person in the Optima who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicle from the crash site.
Officials blocked all lanes following the collision. The roadway was opened as of 4:34 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
