Woman Injured in Butte County Accident on Highway 99 and Biggs Highway
Butte County, California (February 26, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after an accident involving a semi-truck on Monday morning in Butte County, as per a local news source.
The incident took place at about 7:00 a.m. February 25, on Highway 99 at the Biggs Highway turnoff, south of Chico.
According to the authorities, a female driver in a compact car was traveling at about 40 miles per hour when she hit another vehicle which was stopped at the intersection.
The female driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
