Woman Critically Hurt in Corona Pedestrian Accident at Main and Ninth Streets
Corona, California (February 24, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Corona on Friday evening.
The accident occurred just before 7 p.m. February 22, at the intersection of Main and Ninth streets.
Corona police said emergency crews responded to the incident and found the woman lying unconscious in the roadway.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle involved remained at the scene. Neither of them was hurt.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
Police are working to find out what caused the crash and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
