Ram Bhatia Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Friant Road and Copper River Drive
Fresno, California (February 23, 2019) – Police have identified the man killed in a pedestrian accident on Thursday evening in Fresno as 70-year-old Ram Bhatia, according to the Fresno police.
The collision was reported at about 6:24 p.m. February 21, on Friant Road and Copper River Drive.
Police said 25-year-old Matthew Hiram Chenot was driving northbound on Friant Road when he struck Bhatia.
Bhatia was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details on the crash were released.
The crash remains under investigation.
