La Puente, California (February 19, 2019) – Five people, including two California Highway Patrol officers, were injured early Tuesday morning in an alleged DUI crash in La Puente, according to a local news source.

The accident took place at around 2:50 a.m. on 60 Freeway near the 605 Freeway.

As per the report, the CHP officers had spotted a car that had stopped on the side of the eastbound lanes of 60 Freeway and pull over to help the driver.

Another car traveling eastbound on the freeway struck the driver, the CHP squad car and both CHP officers.
