Man Injured in Thousand Oaks Pedestrian Crash on Hillcrest Drive
Thousand Oaks, California (February 19, 2019) – A man was struck and injured by a vehicle in Thousand Oaks on Monday evening, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened just before 6:10 p.m. February 18 in the 1300 block of east Hillcrest Drive, east of Highway 23.
Deputies said a man was trying to cross the street outside of a crosswalk when a vehicle hit him.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
Deputies said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be involved in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
