Terrell Withers ID’d as Victim of Sacramento Crash on Watt Avenue and Arden Way
Sacramento, California (February 19, 2019) – Police have identified the victim who died earlier this month in an accident in Sacramento as Terrell Withers, 62.
The fatal collision took place at about 7:18 p.m. February 7, at the Intersection of Watt Avenue and Arden Way.
Police said Withers was walking eastbound across Watt Avenue when, for an unknown reason, he was hit by a silver Toyota Tundra.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Withers lying on the far left lane of northbound Watt Avenue. He was declared dead at the scene.
The 64-year-old Sacramento man, who was the driver of the Toyota, stopped at the scene and complied with authorities. He was unhurt in the crash.
Police said drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the accident.
Sacramento police are investigating the incident.
