San Bernardino, California (February 16, 2019) – A man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in Escondido on Friday evening, February 15.
According to a local news source, the crash occurred in the area of Ninth Avenue and Quince Street at about 5:30 p.m.
The authorities said the 59-year-old man had stopped to tie his shoe when he was hit by a car operated by a 29-year-old man.
The unidentified pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the collision.
