Santa Clara, California (February 16, 2019) – The authorities are investigating the cause of a car accident that occurred in Santa Clara on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Highway 85, February 15.
As per the report, three vehicles were involved in the crash. Although the events preceding the collision were not immediately established, one of the cars is reported to have caught fire after the crash.
The paramedics who responded to the incident had to extricate one person who was trapped inside the wreckage.
The unidentified victim was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
