Redwood City, California (February 15, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after two separate collisions Thursday morning in Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crashed happened at around 11:36 a.m. Thursday, February 14, on northbound 280 Freeway, just south of Millbrae Avenue off-ramp.

As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. An unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area. It remains unclear whether the second collision is related to the first one.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the accident. The roadway was opened as of 12:59 a.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
