San Jose, CA: Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 and Interstate 680
Woman Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 and Interstate 680

San Jose, California (February 10, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by at least one vehicle when she got out of a car that had been involved in an earlier crash in San Jose on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 6 a.m. on the interchange of Highway 101 and Interstate 680.
CHP said a husband and his wife were traveling from southbound Highway 101 to northbound I-680 when they were involved in a minor collision.
The woman got out of their vehicle to seek for help and was struck by at least one passing vehicle.
The victim died at the scene of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
