Minor Injuries Reported in Rocklin Accident on 80 Freeway and Rocklin Road
Rocklin, California (February 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in the area of Rocklin, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash occurred at around 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, on 80 Freeway, just west of Rocklin Road.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured persons. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Officials closed lane 1 following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 5:17 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
