Paul Willard Hurt in Madera Motorcycle Collision on Gateway Drive
Madera, California (February 5, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after colliding with a pick-up truck Saturday evening in Madera, the California Highway Patrol reported.
31-year-old Paul Willard was involved in the accident which took place at around 5:55 p.m. on Gateway Drive near 4th Street.
As per the report, the driver of a pickup truck attempted to change lanes and hit Willard who was riding on a motorcycle.
Willard suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
It was not clear if the driver of the truck was injured.
According to CHP, Gateway Drive near 4th Street was closed for about two hours following the collision.
The crash is under an active investigation.
