1 Injured in Sacramento Car Crash on 80 Freeway near Elkhorn Boulevard
Sacramento, California (February 4, 2019) – One person was injured in a car accident that happened in North Sacramento on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Interstate 80 Freeway near Elkhorn Boulevard at about 4:02 p.m.
The authorities said a gray minivan and a big rig were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established, the van is reported to have sustained major front end damage.
An occupant of the van is reported to have sustained head injuries. The victim also complained of neck pain.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
