1 Injured in Gilroy Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Metcalf Road
Gilroy, California (February 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Gilroy on Saturday morning, February 2.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 2 a.m. on Highway 101 near Metcalf Road.
The authorities said 30-year-old Yuridia Jiminez had been driving a car on the roadway when she lost control of the car and crashed.
A short time later, a male motorcyclist crashed into the disabled car. The unidentified rider was killed in the collision.
Jiminez is reported to have sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to Regional Medical Center.
No other information was provided.
