Man Killed in Concord Pedestrian Accident at Port Chicago Highway and Arnold Industrial Way

Concord, California (February 3, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in an industrial part of Concord, according to police.
The deadly accident happened at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, February 2
Police said the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when for an unknown reason he was hit by a vehicle that was heading southbound on Port Chicago Highway.
The driver involved remained at the scene and complied with authorities.
First responders found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. The victim, only identified as a white male adult, was declared deceased at the scene by the medical team.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
