2 Injured in Kern County Crash on Highway 119 and Cedar Avenue
Kern County, California (January 28, 2019) – Two people were hurt after a traffic collision Sunday evening in Kern County, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at an unspecified time Sunday, January 27, on Highway 119 and Cedar Street.
As per the report, Ford Focus and a Nissan Sentra crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The Sentra driver and one person from the Focus suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital by Hall Ambulance.
A total of four people were reportedly in the Focus and one in the Sentra at the time of the collision.
The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.
The collision blocked Cedar Avenue on the west side of the intersection for more than an hour, but traffic was able to get through on Highway 119.
An investigation is underway.
