Gretchen Elliott ID’d as Woman Killed in Vallejo Pedestrian Crash on Lewis Brown Road near Sonoma Boulevard
Vallejo, California (January 25, 2019) – The pedestrian who was killed in a crash Tuesday night in Vallejo has been identified as Gretchen Elliott, 23, of Bakersfield, according to the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
The crash took place at about 7 p.m. January 22 on Lewis Brown Road near Sonoma Boulevard.
Police said Elliot was hit by a Kia Soul traveling eastbound on Lewis Brown Road.
The responding crews located the victim lying on the south side of the road. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The 52-year-old Vallejo man driving the Kia remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
The crash remains under investigation.
