Man Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway near Archibald Avenue

Rancho Cucamonga, California (January 19, 2019) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident was reported at about 7:37 p.m. January 18 on the 210 freeway near Archibald Avenue.
According to a witness, the man was possibly doing repairs on his vehicle when he was struck.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
A Toyota that had damage was believed to be involved in the accident and was located at a nearby residential neighborhood near London Avenue and Liberty Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
