Two Injured in Phelan Car Accident on Phelan Road near Smith Road
Phelan, California (January 19, 2019) – Two people were injured in a crash between two vehicles on Friday evening in the city of Phelan, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened on Phelan Road near Smith Road at about 5:05 p.m. January 18.
CHP said a van and a blue Mitsubishi Lancer sedan were located at the scene with major damage.
The driver of the blue sedan was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The female passenger was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The crash caused a closure of Phelan Road for approximately one hour as the scene was examined.
The crash is under investigation.
