Motorcyclist Injured in Sylmar Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway at 210 Freeway
Sylmar, California (January 18, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic accident Friday morning in Sylmar, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at around 10:18 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of the connection to the eastbound Interstate 210 Freeway.
For an unknown reason, a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, according to the CHP.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was underneath the black pickup truck in the HOV lane.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the parties involved
A Sig-Alert was issued for blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes for around two hours during the investigation.
Police are investigating the crash.
