At Least 1 Injured in El Monte Car Accident on Highway 60 near Peck Road
El Monte, California (January 18, 2019) – One person was injured in a traffic collision in South El Monte, Los Angeles, on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Highway 60 near Peck Road at about 10:33 p.m.
As per the report, at least five vehicles were involved in the crash. Although the events preceding the collision were not immediately established, airbags were reportedly deployed in one of the cars.
Two vehicles were blocking the roadway when the authorities arrived at the scene.
The authorities said the collision resulted in minor injuries.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
