Michael Thomas Injured in Placerville Car Accident on Highway 50 near Camino Heights Drive
Placerville, California (January 16, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of the man who was injured in a fatal car crash that killed a baby in Placerville on Tuesday evening.
The victim was identified as 39-year-old Michael Thomas of Pollock Pines.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred on Highway 50 near Camino Heights Drive at about 6:30 p.m. January 15.
The authorities said a Volvo had been traveling westbound on the roadway when it veered into opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Subaru operated by Thomas.
The 51-year-old male driver of the Volvo, a female passenger and a 1-year-old girl were killed in the collision.
Thomas was flown to a local hospital for treatment.
