Lemon Grove, California (January 15, 2019) – One person was arrested after a DUI collision Sunday morning in the area of Lemon Grove, according to a local news source.
The accident happened a while after 11:00 a.m. Sunday, January 13, on Highway 125 near Troy Street.
As per the report, a blue Nissan was driving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed before crashing into two other vehicles. The impact caused a white SUV involved to overturn on its roof while another vehicle spun out.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one person pinned in one of the cars. The person was extricated and treated but their current condition was not immediately released.
Information concerning the identity of the other parties involved was not immediately known.
Authorities arrested one man on suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the collision.
Authorities blocked the fourth lane on northbound Highway 125.
