Folsom, California (January 10, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday morning in Folsom, according to the Folsom Police Department.
The crash happened on Blue Ravine Road at about 6 a.m.
Police said a pedestrian was hit by a car between Parkway Drive and Big Valley Road.
Details on how the victim was hit were not immediately released.
The crash caused a closure of Blue Ravine Road as the scene was examined.
The Folsom Police Department is investigating the crash.
