Edward Garner Killed in Martinez Crash on Cummings Skyway
Martinez, California (January 5, 2019) – 57-year-old Edward Garner of Rodeo has been identified as the man killed after a traffic collision Tuesday last week, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, December 25, on Cummings Skyway, just north of Highway 4.
As per the report, Garner was driving a Nissan Xterra on Cummings Skyway when a sedan traveling in the location drifted off the roadway for unknown reasons, overcorrected and drove into oncoming traffic crashing into the Nissan.
Garner suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was declared dead at the scene.
Officials said that the sedan driver suffered severe injuries following the collision. The patient’s name and current condition remained unknown.
