Person Injured in Taft Pedestrian Crash on Olive Avenue

Taft, California (January 2, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Wednesday morning in South Taft, according to a local news source.
At around 8:45 a.m., authorities received a report regarding a person hit by a vehicle on the 400 block of Olive Avenue.
The driver involved reportedly fled the scene without rendering aid to the pedestrian. The man was later located and arrested.
The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries and their name were not immediately disclosed.
