Willows, California (January 1, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a woman who was injured in a traffic collision in Willows, Glenn County, on Thursday, December 27.
The woman was identified as a 41-year-old Ramona Petersen, of Orland.
According to a local news source, the collision occurred on County Road 99W near County Road 7 at about 11:05 a.m.
According to the CHP press release, Petersen had been driving a Dodge Durango northbound on the roadway when she crashed into a northbound big rig that was making a left turn driven by 38-year-old Manuelito Barrera of Marysville.
Petersen sustained minor injuries while Barrera was unhurt.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
