1 Sustains Severe Injuries in Vallejo Crash on 80 Freeway near Toll Plaza Road
Vallejo, California (July 31, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a scooter crash that happened Friday evening in Vallejo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at around 7:32 p.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, near Toll Plaza Road.
According to authorities, a scooter collided with an unknown vehicle, blocking the No. 1 lane.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene to transport one person who sustained major injuries to the hospital.
All westbound lanes of 80 Freeway, just east of Toll Plaza were blocked following the collision.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
