2 Injured in Car Accident on Ramona Expressway at Lakeview Avenue in Nuevo
Nuevo, California (July 22, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol officer and a motorist were injured in a traffic collision in Nuevo on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 4:05 p.m. July on the Ramona Expressway at Lakeview Avenue.
The officer was driving a patrol vehicle in the area and was hit by a sedan in unclear circumstances.
The Riverside County Fire Department said the CHP officer and the other motorist sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene of the accident.
