1 Injured in Fresno Big Rig Crash on Highway 99 near North Avenue
Fresno, California (July 22, 2021) – One person was injured in a traffic collision involving a big rig in Fresno on Thursday morning.
The crash happened at about 2 a.m. on Highway 99 near North Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck was merging onto the highway when it crashed into a green pickup truck with a landscaping trailer parked on the right shoulder.
The big rig driver sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured in the crash.
