Trinity County, California (July 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by an alleged hit-and-run driver, 33-year-old Jason Ryan, in Trinity County.

The pedestrian accident happened in the area of Lee Fong Park on July 16.

An individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle driven by Jason Ryan for reasons still under investigation.

The pedestrian, whose name was not revealed, sustained unspecified injuries following the collision.

Ryan fled the crash site without rendering aid to the victim.

Meanwhile, Jason was later found from a nearby residence and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and felony hit-and-run.
