Whitewater, California (July 20, 2021) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision near Whitewater on Monday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on westbound Interstate 10 nearly three miles west of Haugen-Lehmann Way shortly before 5 p.m.
Four vehicles were involved in the pileup as some of them failed to slow down for traffic ahead.
