San Diego, CA: Rider Hurt in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident, Driver Possibly Arrested
San Diego Accident on 15 Freeway near Scripps Poway Parkway Injures Motorcyclist

San Diego, California (July 17, 2021) – A rider was hurt following an alleged hit-and-run collision Thursday morning in San Diego.
The motorcycle collision happened on the northbound 15 Freeway near Scripps Poway Parkway at approximately 10:30 a.m.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle whose driver escaped the scene after the crash.

The rider sustained unspecified injuries following the crash.
Meanwhile, a black Honda Civic with left rear damage was later found by the Police on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway.
The crash resulted in the closure of the Nos 1 and 2 lanes of the northbound 15 Freeway for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
