Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Ventura Crash on Pacific Coast Highway Near Emma Wood

Ventura, California (July 16, 2021) – A Ventura crash involving a motorcycle Thursday afternoon seriously injured one person, the California Highway Patrol said
The major injury accident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway, north of the Emma Wood State Beach.
The CHP did not establish how a motorcyclist crashed with a vehicle in the afternoon hours.

The rider sustained major injuries, including an open wound to their leg, following the accident. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
As per the report, the crash resulted in the closure of a section of Pacific Coast Highway near Emma Wood for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
