Greggory Tilden ID’d as Wheelchair-Bound Man Killed in Fountain Valley Crash on Euclid Street and Warner Avenue

Fountain Valley, California (July 13, 2021) – The wheelchair-bound pedestrian who died after being hit by two vehicles in Fountain Valley early Saturday morning has been identified as Greggory Tilden, 62, according to the Orange County Coroner’s office.
The collision was reported at around 2:30 a.m. July 10, at Euclid Street and Warner Avenue.
Authorities said Tilden, who was homeless, was westbound on Warner Avenue attempting to cross Euclid Street when he was struck by a northbound blue 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.
Tilden was then struck by a northbound white 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Greggory Tilden Dies in Fountain Valley Crash
Emergency personnel responded to the crash and found Tilden lying on the road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
